The UN Human Rights Office will release the OHCHR fact-finding report titled "Human Rights Violations and Abuses" related to the July and August uprising of 2024 in Bangladesh on 13 February.

It will hold a press conference at the Palais des Nations in Geneva on the same day.

High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk will deliver opening remarks.

The other panellists will be Rory Mungoven, chief of the Asia-Pacific Section, Jyotsna Poudyal, human rights officer, and Ravina Shamdasani, chief spokesperson.

The news conference will be broadcast live on UN Web TV for those wishing to listen only.    

The report will be issued before the news conference.
