ULAB students hold tribute programme for Osman Hadi
Students of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), with support from the university authorities, organised a tribute programme on 21 December to honour the life and legacy of Shahid Osman Hadi.
Held on the ULAB campus, the programme was attended by a large number of students, department heads, faculty members and administrative staff, reflecting the university community's respect for Osman Hadi.
The event began with a minute of silence, followed by speeches from Milan Kumar Bhattacharjee, Acting Vice-Chancellor of ULAB, and Foyzul Islam, Registrar of the university. They spoke on Osman Hadi's contributions and the impact he had on those around him.
Adding a personal perspective, ULAB student Hosain Hoque shared his experiences and interactions with Osman Hadi, highlighting his influence on young people.
The programme concluded with a floral tribute in remembrance of Osman Hadi. ULAB said the event reaffirmed the university's commitment to honouring individuals whose lives and work have left a lasting impact on its students and community.
