Udichi Shilpi Gosthi has organised a human chain and protest rally in Faridpur to against any conspiracy centring the national anthem.

As part of its nationwide programme, the artist group held a human chain in front of the Faridpur Press Club at 10am this morning (6 September) and chanted slogans including, "stand against conspiracies involving our national anthem," "take to the streets, raise your voice, sing 'Amar Sonar Bangla Ami Tomay Bhalobashi' [My Golden Bengal, I love you]."

Abdul Motaleb, a freedom fighter and district president of Udichi chaired the event.

Speakers at the event said they will not tolerate any conspiracy against the country's national anthem.

They also promised a united front against all malicious forces if such any such attempts are made.

Following the speeches, everyone sung the national anthem.

Present at the event were Shyamal Das, Hosneyara Khanam, Emdad Mia, Prof Shipra Ray, Abu Sufian Chowdhury Kushal, Anowara Begum, Azad Abul Kalam, Shah Jahangir, Lutfunnahar Lata, among others.
