Two youths killed in motorcycle-car collision on Kalshi flyover in Dhaka
The victims were rescued in critical condition and rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared them dead

Two motorcyclists, both around 20 years old, were killed in a collision with a car on the Kalshi flyover in the capital's Pallabi area around 10pm last night (4 April).
The victims were rescued in critical condition and rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where doctors declared them dead, said Nazrul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Pallabi Police Station.
According to Ahsan Habib, a car driver who was passing by right after the accident, "There were two young men on the motorcycle. After colliding with a Toyota CHR, the passenger sitting at the back fell approximately 25 feet down to the road below."
"People nearby came to rescue him. The motorcycle was completely damaged. The driver fell on the flyover and his legs appeared to be broken," he added.
He said the Toyota car was also severely damaged after hitting the railing of the flyover during the collision.
Police said they are investigating the cause of the accident and working to identify the deceased. Both the damaged car and motorcycle are in the custody of Pallabi Police Station.
Inspector Md Faruk, in charge of the DMCH police outpost, said the bodies have been kept in the emergency department morgue of the hospital.
