Two diagnostic centres sealed off; one hospital fined for selling saline at higher prices
A mobile court has sealed off two diagonostic centres and fined a hospital Tk1.60 lakh for selling saline at higher prices and charging extra fee for dengue test in Hemayetpur of Savar this afternoon.
Savar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (land) and Executive Magistrate SM Russell Islam Noor conducted the mobile court with the help of local law enforcement forces.
According to mobile court sources, none of the three medical facilities – Hemayetpur Standard Hospital, Foysal Diagonostic Centre and SR Diagonostic Centre - had their Health Department licence up to date.

The resident medical officer of Savar Upazila Health Complex Dr Md Saidul Islam and other officials of the local Health Department were present during the drive.
