A youth was killed in a road accident at Ward No. 3 of Muradia union under Dumki upazila of the district yesterday evening (10 December).

The deceased was identified as Siam, 20, son of Abu Yusuf Hawlader of Kuripika village in Patuakhali Sadar Upazila.

Injured Siam was taken to Dumki Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead. Officer-in-Charge of Dumki Police Station, Md Selim Uddin, confirmed the matter.
