Public transports to run on normal fare from Sep 1
Instructions from the government on this will be made public through a gazette notification

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said the government has decided to return to the previous fare of public transports on condition from September 1.
The minister made the remark while exchanging views with Dhaka Road Zone, BRTA and BRTC officials by videoconference from his residence on Saturday morning, reports Somoy TV.
He further said that instructions from the government on this will be made public through a gazette notification.
"Wearing of masks is compulsory for all concerned including public transport passengers, drivers, supervisors and ticket sellers. Besides, passengers cannot be carried more than the number of seats on the bus," the minister added.
Earlier, it was reported that the government was going to allow public transports to run at full seating capacity from the first week of September, even though new daily cases of Covid-19 infections and fatalities are still high in the country.
