Metro Rail's Friday schedule revised
The train now operates from 3:30pm on Fridays
The Dhaka Metro Rail authorities have revised the train's schedule for Fridays.
For passenger convenience, the metro will now operate at 3pm from Uttara instead of 3:30pm on Fridays, the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) said in an office order today (16 January).
The new schedule will take effect from tomorrow (17 January).

According to the DMTCL, the metro rail will operate from Uttara North to Motijheel from 3pm to 9pm and from Motijheel to Uttara North from 3:20pm to 9:40pm every Friday.
Meanwhile, single-journey tickets will be available for purchase at Uttara North Metro Rail Station from 2:45pm on Friday and at Motijheel Metro Rail Station from 3:05 pm.
In addition, Rapid Passes can be purchased, and MRT/Rapid passes can be topped up, it added.
