Homebound travelers are enjoying a hassle-free journey on the 105-kilometer stretch of the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Cumilla, with no reports of traffic congestion.

Authorities have identified 12 congestion-prone points along the highway, where executive magistrates are deployed alongside law enforcement agencies to keep traffic moving.
This morning (29 March), multiple highway police teams were stationed to regulate traffic on both Dhaka-bound and Chattogram-bound lanes.
Intelligence surveillance has also been intensified at night to maintain law and order and prevent theft and robbery on the highway.
Depending on the sighting of the moon, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to be celebrated on 31 March or 1 April.
