Teen motorcyclist killed, two injured in Sitakunda road accident
A 16-year-old motorcyclist, Junaed Hossain, was killed and two others critically injured after being hit by a covered van on Bayezid Link Road in Chattogram's Sitakunda on Friday evening.
The incident occurred around 5:30pm when the van struck the motorcycle from behind, throwing the riders on the road.
Junaed died on the spot, while the two injured were taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital. Their identities have not yet been confirmed.

Junaed, a resident of Ward-5, Nazirhat municipality in Fatikchhari and son of the late Md Zafar, worked as a tiles technician, according to family sources.
Inspector Masud Rana, in-charge of the Fouzderhat Police Outpost, confirmed the incident. He said the accident took place during a trip Junaed and six friends were making to Chattogram city on three motorcycles.
"As no complaint was lodged by the family, the body was handed over to them without an autopsy," the inspector added.
The injured remain under treatment at the hospital.
