Tarique visits ailing mother Khaleda at Evercare for 3rd time since return
This was the third visit by Tarique to Evercare Hospital since his return to the country on Thursday (25 December) after nearly 17 years in exile
BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman visited Evercare Hospital in the capital late Sunday night (28 December) to see his ailing mother Khaleda Zia, the party's chairperson and former prime minister.
According to BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan, Tarique arrived at the hospital around 11:35pm.
This was the third visit by Tarique to Evercare Hospital since his return to the country on Thursday (25 December) after nearly 17 years in exile.
He had earlier visited the hospital on Saturday night, arriving at around 9:40pm, to inquire about his mother's condition.
On 25 December, shortly after returning to Bangladesh, Tarique also went to Evercare Hospital following a brief address to party leaders and supporters at the 300 feet area in the capital's Purbachal.
Khaleda Zia has been receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital, located in the Bashundhara Residential Area, since 23 November. According to party sources, her condition remains critical.
