Sufi Mizan meets Mahathir Mohamad in Kuala Lumpur

Sufi Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, founder chairman of PHP Family and recipient of the Ekushey Padak for social service, paid a courtesy visit to former Malaysian prime minister and architect of modern Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, in Kuala Lumpur yesterday (28 July).
The meeting, held at Mahathir's invitation, took place in a cordial atmosphere, according to a press release issued by PHP Family.
As Mahathir entered his 100th year, Sufi Mizan greeted him with flowers and wished him good health and longevity. In response, Mahathir praised Bangladesh and thanked Sufi Mizan for his contributions to the country's economic development. He also encouraged him to continue promoting industrial progress.
Also present during the meeting were PHP Family Managing Director Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, Director Mohammad Zaherul Islam Rinku, and prominent businessman Zillur Rahman.
Sufi Mizan shares a longstanding relationship with Mahathir.
