Showkat Aziz Russell re-elected BTMA president for a second term

Showkat Aziz Russell has been re-elected unopposed as president of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) for a second consecutive term, according to a press release issued by the association.
He is currently serving as the organisation's president. Russell is the managing director of Amber Cotton Mills Limited.
According to the press release, the president, four vice-presidents and all other directors were also elected unopposed.

The vice-presidents are Md Shamim Islam, managing director of Jamuna Group; Abul Kalam, managing director of Chaity Group; and Shafiqul Islam Sarkar, managing director of Purbani Group.
The newly elected directors are Md Badsha Mia, Sajid Israq, Md Tanvir Khan, Shahid Alam, Khorshed Alam, Afroza Khanam, Ruhul Amin, Mirza Ahmed Ispahani, Naim Hossain, Rubayet Haider, Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, Sanchia Chowdhury, Chowdhury Mohammad Hanif, Syed Eleus Sirajee, Syed Rezwanul Huq, Md Kawser Hossain, Nur-E-Yasmin Fatima, Nuruzzaman Khan, BM Shoeb, Mizanur Rahman, Sohel Khan, Mahbubur Rahman, and Matiur Rahman.
The newly formed board will serve for the next two years.
