Brigadier General Shahzad Pervez Mohiuddin has been appointed as the director general (DG) of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).

Meanwhile, Brigadier General S M Moniruzzaman, who had been serving as the BTRC director general, has been returned to the Bangladesh Army. His service has been placed under the Armed Forces Division.
