Additional Police Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam has been made chief of the Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
An office order signed by DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali was issued in this connection today (27 August).
Shafiqul is a member of the 18th BCS. Earlier, he was working in the Highway Police as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police
