RU students lay siege to admin building demanding Rucsu polls schedule

Students of Rajshahi University laid siege to the university's administrative building today, demanding the announcement of the schedule for the Rajshahi University Central Students Union (Rucsu) election.
Around 11:30am, students started a demonstration on the campus to press the authorities their demand. Later, around 12pm, they gathered in front of the administrative building and started agitation.
Protesting students alleged that the university administration and the Rucsu Election Commission have been dilly-dallying in announcing the election schedule for a long time.

Though the Rucsu Election Commission was scheduled to announce the polls schedule by 30 June, the schedule has not yet been declared.
