Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) has been working relentlessly to make the city streets safe by ensuring proper traffic management.

Already, many of the city dwellers have started getting benefits as time-fitting measures were taken to free the Shaheb Bazar area from traffic congestion.

RMP Commissioner Muhammad Abu Sufiyan told a workshop on 'Creating awareness among the drivers and owners of easy-bike and auto-rickshaw' on Thursday.

The Traffic Division of RMP and Rajshahi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) organised the workshop at the RCCI with the participation of around 200 drivers and owners.

Deputy Commissioner (Traffic) of RMP Nur Alam Siddiqui and RCCI President Masudur Rahman, among others, also spoke.

Commissioner Abu Sufiyan said they have taken initiatives to make the movement of pedestrians easier through freeing the city streets from traffic congestion.
