RAB arrests ‘Kobjikata Group’ leader Ahmed with pistol, bullets from Mohammadpur
During the arrest, law enforcement recovered one locally made pistol and 10 rounds of ammunition from his possession.
RAB-2 has arrested Ahmed, 25, who is the second-in-command of the "Kobjikata Group" and the leader of the "I Don't Care Group", in the Mohammadpur area of the capital.
He was arrested last night (20 May) from the Chand Udyan area in Mohammadpur, said RAB officials. During the arrest, law enforcement recovered one locally made pistol and 10 rounds of ammunition from his possession.
The information was confirmed by RAB-2 Deputy Director (Media) Major M Mubin Rahman Tapas today (21 May).
According to RAB, Ahmed and his associates had been involved in various criminal activities, including arms and drug-related offences, in Adabor and surrounding areas.
Police also said Ahmed is accused in five cases filed with Mohammadpur and Adabor police stations under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
