Probashi Kallyan Bank to launch Sharia-based loan scheme for expatriates soon: Asif Nazrul

Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul today (10 January) said Probashi Kallyan Bank will soon launch a Sharia-based loan scheme for Bangladeshi expatriates.
In a post on his verified Facebook account, Asif said the new initiative would provide Sharia-compliant financing for expatriate workers.
"Good news for expatriate brothers. The Sharia-based loan programme is going to be launched soon from the Probashi Kallyan Bank," he wrote.

The adviser said he spoke with the managing director of Probashi Kallyan Bank earlier today and was informed that the scheme could be launched within this month.
"Shaykh Ahmadullah Bhai has inspired us to take this step. Thank him very much," he added.
