Prime Mover-Trailer workers withdraw strike in Ctg port
The strike has brought the cargo movement, mainly from ready-made garments and other industries, between the port and 19 inland container depots in a halt.

The Prime Mover-Trailer Labour Union, an organisation of the labours who transport goods in Chattogram Port, has called off their strike after eight hours.
Md. Mainuddin, the president of the Chattagram Prime Mover Trailer Sramik union confirmed the matter.
"We called for a strike for an indefinite period for the justice of our fellow's murder. But we have withdrawn as the administration has arrested the murderer."
Previously a strike for an indefinite period of time was called on today morning, demanding the arrest of the killers of a fellow worker.
The strike brought the cargo movement, mainly from ready-made garments and other industries, between the port and 19 inland container depots in a halt.
Shahjahan Saju, 48, a Prime Mover driver, was shot dead in Kalu Shah shrine area of Sitakunda on Wednesday.
A case was filed with Sitakunda Police Station by the victim’s wife after the incident.
