President accepts resignations of Asif and Mahfuj; 3 ministries reassigned to 3 advisers
The responsibilities of the three aforementioned ministries previously overseen by the resigned advisers have been reassigned to three other members of the interim government’s Advisory Council
President Mohammed Shahabuddin has accepted the resignation letters of two advisers — Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain and Mahfuj Alam.
The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard today (11 December).
Asif, who was in charge of the LGRD and cooperatives ministry and the youth and sports ministry, and Mahfuj, who was in charge of the information and broadcasting ministry, submitted their resignation letters to Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus yesterday.
In a separate notification, the responsibilities of the three aforementioned ministries previously overseen by the resigned advisers have been reassigned to three other members of the interim government's Advisory Council.
According to the Cabinet Division, the LGRD and cooperatives ministry has been handed to Adilur Rahman Khan, the youth and sports ministry to Asif Nazrul, and the information and broadcasting ministry to Syeda Rizwana Hasan.
