She collected her nomination form today (18 August), the final day for submissions.
Fatema is expected to run for the post of vice-president (VP), while former president of the Dhaka University Journalists' Association (Duja), Al Sadi Bhuiyan, is likely to be nominated for the general secretary (GS) position.
Duja's current president, Mohiuddin Mujahid Mahi, is also expected to be nominated for the assistant general secretary (AGS) post.
Fatema said the full panel will be announced tomorrow after reviewing the candidates' qualifications.
"We will announce a student-friendly Ducsu panel," she added.
