Tarique pays tribute to Hadi, calls for youth-led nation-building
Tarique said Hadi had wanted the people of this country to regain their economic rights
BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman took to the stage today (25 December), greeting the crowd as, "Dear Bangladesh."
Accompanied by senior BNP leaders, Tarique Rahman waved to party leaders and activists as he stepped onto the stage.
During his speech, he recalled Sharif Osman bin Hadi, the Inqilab Mancha leader who was tragically killed recently.
Tarique said Hadi had wanted the people of this country to regain their economic rights.
"To repay the debt of blood of those who were martyred in 1971 and those who were martyred in 2024, we must build the Bangladesh that the people hoped for," Tarique Rahman said.
Stressing the importance of the younger generation, he said the youth would build the country in the coming days.
He stressed the need to establish a democratic state on a strong economic foundation, repeating three times, "We want peace in the country."
"We will all work together to build our Bangladesh," Tarique Rahman said, expressing his gratitude to the people.
