Several groups plotting to sabotage upcoming election: BNP’s Farroque
This time too, new plans are being executed by various quarters to obstruct the polls, he added.
Zainul Abedin Farroque, the BNP chairperson's adviser and former opposition chief whip, has alleged that multiple groups are actively conspiring to derail the upcoming national election, scheduled to be held in February next year.
Speaking as the chief guest at a protest rally in front of the National Press Club today (28 November), the BNP leader said nationalist forces have always tried to confront such conspiracies through fair elections.
This time too, new plans are being executed by various quarters to obstruct the polls, he added.
If the BNP's 31-point plan for state reform is successfully implemented and a fair election is held under the interim government, all these conspiracies can be thwarted, he added.
