NCP launches election march, says 'Yes' vote can realise July martyrs' dream
Asif said, "The Bangladesh that Ishmamul Haque and others gave their lives for will be established through this election."
The National Citizen Party (NCP) said the reforms dreamed of by the July martyrs can be implemented if the outcome of the referendum is "yes".
The party began its 11-day election march began today (26 January) in Chattogram with a visit to the grave of Ishmamul Haque, one of the martyrs of the July uprising.
Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, chairman of NCP's election management committee, along with central and local leaders, visited the grave in Darji Para of Amirabad Union in Lohagara Upazila, Chattogram.
Asif said, "The Bangladesh that Ishmamul Haque and others gave their lives for will be established through this election. By achieving a 'yes' victory in the referendum, the reforms dreamed of by the July martyrs can be implemented."
