NCP to launch youth wing ‘Jatiya Jubo Shakti’ on Friday

“More than 40% of Bangladesh’s population is young. If we want to change the country’s destiny, there is no alternative to uniting this group. To utilise their potential, we must bring them together,” says NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari.

The National Citizen Party (NCP) will launch its youth wing, Jatiya Jubo Shakti, this Friday (16 May) through a public event in the capital's Gulistan.

The announcement was made at a press conference held at the party's office in Banglamotor today (13 May).

Speaking at the event, NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari said, "After forming the party, we began efforts to unite the youth. We are communicating with people in all 64 districts, collecting information, and preparing to shape a new Bangladesh. The opportunity now before the country comes once every 100 to 200 years."

Nasiruddin also said, "We believe that just as student movements in the past played a vital role in ending autocracy, Jatiya Jubo Shakti will also become a milestone for Bangladesh."

NCP's Joint Chief Coordinator (Youth) Advocate Md Tariqul Islam and other central leaders were present at the press conference.
