Chhatra Dal announces full panel for Jucsu polls with Sheikh Sadi Hasan for VP, Tanzila Hossain Boishakhi for GS

The Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit of the Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has announced its full panel for the upcoming Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (Jucsu) election.
The announcement was made earlier today (28 August) at the foot of the "Adamya 24" sculpture in the university's transport area. Following the announcement, the candidates paid floral tribute at the memorial.
The panel was formally declared by JCD Central Senior Vice-President Rafsan Mohammad Yahia.
Sheikh Sadi Hasan has been nominated as vice-president (VP) candidate, while Tanzila Hossain Boishakhi has been nominated for the post of general secretary (GS).
Sajjadul Islam and Anjuman Ikra will be running for assistant general secretary (AGS) in the male and female categories, while Yamin Howlader has been nominated as education and research secretary, and Likhan Chandra Roy as environment and nature conservation secretary.
Additionally, Jahid Hasan Khan has been nominated as literature and publication secretary, Md Abidur Rahman as cultural secretary, with Md Parvez Hasan Nishan as assistant cultural secretary, Md Aminul Islam as drama secretary, and Md Jaber Hasan as information technology and library secretary.
Md Tawhidur Rahman Khan has been nominated as social service and human resource development secretary, with Shakil Sardar as assistant social service secretary (male) and Kazi Mousumi Afroz as assistant social service secretary (female).
Ujjal Hasan will be running for sports secretary, while Ruhul Amin Sweet (male) and Mosammat Shahanaj Parvin Shanu (female) will be running for assistant sports secretaries. Jahirul Islam was nominated as transport and communication secretary, and Md Mominul Islam as health and food security secretary.
For the executive member positions, Hamidullah Salman, Mehedi Hasan, and AM Rafidullah have been nominated from the male quota, while Sumaiya Sultana Siya, Happy Akter Shila, and Shaila Sabrin Nijhum have been nominated from the female quota.
