Jamaat ameer, Switzerland ambassador express optimism over future Swiss investment in Bangladesh
Both sides also expressed hope that Switzerland would continue its strong support and cooperation with Bangladesh in the future.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman and Swiss Ambassador to Bangladesh Reto Renggli have expressed optimism that Swiss investment in Bangladesh will continue to grow in the coming years.
Their remarks came during a courtesy call and breakfast meeting between the Jamaat ameer and the Swiss ambassador at 9am today (5 October).
The discussion took place in a cordial atmosphere, covering the overall situation in Bangladesh, bilateral investment, and issues of mutual interest, including international relations, according to a press release.
Both sides also expressed hope that Switzerland would continue its strong support and cooperation with Bangladesh in the future.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Renggli inquired about the health of Jamaat chief Shafiqur and wished him a full recovery.
The ambassador was accompanied by Alberto Giovanetti, the head of political, economic and communication Affairs at the Swiss Embassy, and Khaled Chowdhury, senior political, economic and press officer
Also representing Jamaat were the party's assistant secretary general and head of the Central Publicity and Media Department, Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubayer; Central Executive Council Member Mobarak Hossain; and the foreign affairs adviser to the ameer, Mahmudul Hasan.
