Ducsu polls: Chhatra Dal panel takes oath
Their oath consisted of eight pledges

Candidates of the student wing of BNP, Chhatra Dal, for the upcoming Dhaka University Central Students' Union (Ducsu) and hall union elections have officially taken oath.
The ceremony was held on today (7 September) at 1:15pm under the historic Bot tala near the Faculty of Arts building at Dhaka University.
Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam Rakib, DU unit President Ganesh Chandra Roy Sahas, and General Secretary Nahiduzzaman Shipon were present at the event.
Their oath consisted of eight points including-
They pledged to ensure a safe, inclusive, and repression-free campus environment for all students.
They committed to defending democracy and resisting any future threats to national sovereignty and student rights.
The candidates vowed to make the campus a secure and empowering space for female students, with a focus on rights and facilities.
They promised to improve residential, nutritional, healthcare, sanitation, and transport services for students.
They committed to protecting students from cyberbullying, misinformation, and online harassment.
They aimed to elevate academic standards, research opportunities, extracurricular activities, and career support.
They pledged to maintain decorum, mutual respect, and democratic values in student politics and leadership.
The candidates also assured full transparency and accountability in fulfilling these commitments if elected.
