BNP withdraws expulsion orders of 7 leaders removed for violating party discipline
Following their appeals, the party decided to withdraw the expulsion orders and reinstate them as primary members.
The BNP has withdrawn the expulsion orders of seven of its leaders, who were previously expelled for breaching party discipline and engaging in activities contrary to the party's ideals and policies.
The announcement of the decision came in a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today (24 October).
Those whose expulsion orders have been withdrawn include former BNP National Executive Committee member and former convener of Bhaluka Upazila BNP under Mymensingh Fakhruddin Ahmed Bacchu; former senior joint convener of Gazipur metropolitan BNP Rakibul Uddin Sarkar Pappu; and former joint convener of Chattogram district (North) BNP Nurul Amin.
Also on the list are former convener of Mathbaria Upazila BNP under Pirojpur district Ruhul Amin Dulal; former president of Jaldhaka Upazila BNP under Nilphamari Tahmid Faisal Chowdhury Comet; former member of Rangpur district BNP Mokarram Hossain Sujon; and former member of Rangpur district BNP Md Ali Sarkar.
The party said in the press release that the seven leaders had been expelled from all party positions, including primary membership.
Following their appeals, the party decided to withdraw the expulsion orders and reinstate them as primary members.
