BNP begins waste removal at Tarique’s homecoming reception venue
According to party leaders, from the morning, the waste is being cleared from the 300-feet road, Airport Road, and surrounding areas.
Dhaka North BNP has taken the initiative to clean the waste created by the large gathering organised to mark the homecoming of the party's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
The waste removal drive began this morning (26 December) under the leadership of Dhaka North BNP convener Aminul Haque.
According to party leaders, from the morning, the waste is being cleared from the 300-feet road, Airport Road, and surrounding areas.
The programme is being carried out under the supervision of Dhaka North BNP with the participation of volunteers and party activists. Leaders said the initiative is aimed at reducing public inconvenience and ensuring normal movement for city residents.
The party leader and activists working in the waste removal drive said BNP has been working to protect the environment and maintain cleanliness through peaceful and orderly programmes, and the post-event waste removal is part of that effort.
