Bangladesh Ganatantrik Chhatra Sangsad calls for press conference this evening
The decision to hold a press conference came after a fist fight took place between members of the newly formed party and a group of private university students who had been protesting their exclusion in DU campus yesterday (26 February)

The newly-formed Bangladesh Ganatantrik Chhatra Sangsad has called a press conference at the Madhur Canteen in DU campus this afternoon (27 February) following a scuffle between its members and private university students.
The decision to hold a press conference came after a fist fight took place between members of the newly formed party and a group of private university students who had been protesting their exclusion in DU campus yesterday (26 February).
Earlier, students from various private universities blocked the Shahbagh-bound lane in the capital's Bangla Motor near the office of the Students Against Discrimination (SAD) for an hour last night (26 February).
The students started the blockade at 10:00pm protesting reported attacks on their fellow students during the launch of Bangladesh Gonotantrik Chhatra Sangsad, a new student organisation led by SAD coordinators at the Dhaka University.
