AB Party Chairman Monju submits nomination papers for Feni-2
He also pledges for democratic reforms, accepting public mandate
AB Party Chairman Mojibur Rahman Monju, candidate for the Feni‑2 (Sadar) constituency, has submitted his nomination papers for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.
He submitted the paper in person today (29 December) at the office of the Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Monira Haque.
Speaking to journalists after submitting the nomination papers, Monju said the seat adjustments have been reached with those most committed to fulfilling the pledge of the July Uprising and ensuring justice for all killings, including the murder of Inquilab Mancha spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi.
"I will work unitedly with everyone to implement the development and reforms of Feni," he said.
AB Party Central Assistant Organising Secretary Engineer Shah Alam Badol, District Convener Master Ahsanullah, NCP District Convener Zahidul Islam Saikot, prominent NGO personality Maymuna Akter Ruby, and journalist Habib Miaji were present at the time of submitting the nomination papers in compliance with the electoral law.
As part of the seat adjustment, Jamaat candidate Liaqat Ali Bhuiyan has withdrawn himself from the Feni‑2 election race, extending his support to Mojibur Rahman Monju.
