PM’s delegation meets ex-CA Yunus
The three-member delegation was led by the prime minister’s defence adviser, Brig Gen (retd) Dr AKM Shamsul Islam.
A delegation, on behalf of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, paid a courtesy call on former chief adviser Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus today (28 February) as he was leaving his official residence during the interim government's tenure, State Guest House Jamuna.
The three-member delegation was led by the prime minister's defence adviser, Brig Gen (retd) Dr AKM Shamsul Islam, said the Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon.
He said the delegation met Yunus at 3pm at Jamuna on Minto Road in the capital while he was bidding farewell.
Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister ABM Abdus Sattar and Military Secretary to the Prime Minister Maj Gen Abul Hasnat Mohammad Tariq were also present.
