Former PDB member Md Fazlul Haque dies at 77
Engineer Md Fazlul Haque, a former member for distribution of the Bangladesh Power Development Board (PDB), died while undergoing treatment in Dhaka on Wednesday (2 September). He was 77.
He died at 2:30pm and is survived by his wife, Nargis Sultana, four children, relatives and well-wishers, according to a press release.
PDB Chairman Engineer Md Rezaul Karim expressed deep sorrow at his death and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
Fazlul joined the board as an assistant engineer in January 1974 and subsequently held several important positions. He was known for his professional expertise as an engineer.
His namaz-e-janaza was held at Chand Mosque in Shahbagh, north of the former PG Hospital and behind Sakura.
