BPDB official Mosharraf Hossain passes away
Md Mosharraf Hossain, senior assistant director at the Training and Career Development Directorate of the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), passed away on 11 November 2025 while undergoing treatment at Islami Bank Hospital and Cardiac Centre, Mirpur, Dhaka.
He died at the age of 58 due to septic shock, aplastic anaemia and Moos hypothyroidism (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un).
BPDB Chairman Engineer Md Rezaul Karim has expressed deep sorrow at his passing and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

Born in 1968 in Lakshmipur district, Mosharraf Hossain began his career at the Power Development Board in 1988.
He is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter.
