AIUB to organise milad mahfil for late founder Hasna Abedin
The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) will observe the ninth death anniversary of Hasna Abedin, founder and former chairperson of the university, on Wednesday, 11 February 2026.
The university will hold special prayers, recitations from the Holy Quran, and a Milad Mahfil in her honour. AIUB stated that it will pay tribute to her contributions to higher education.
The AIUB authorities have requested students, faculty members, relatives, and well-wishers to pray for the eternal peace of the departed.
