Nusraat Faria released from Kashimpur jail
After her release at around 3:28pm, she left for Dhaka with her relatives

Actress Nusraat Faria has been released on bail from Kashimpur Women's Central Jail in Gazipur today (20 May).
After her release at around 3:28pm, she left for Dhaka with her relatives, Senior Jail Superintendent Kawalin Nahar told The Business Standard.
Journalists who were gathered at the jail premises reported that she left quietly.
Earlier in the day, a Dhaka court granted bail to Nusraat, who was sent to jail yesterday (19 May) in connection with an attempted murder case, triggering widespread criticism from various quarters.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Mostafijur Rahman issued the order this morning, Nusraat's lawyer Mohammad Iftekhar Hossain told reporters.
Yesterday, another Dhaka court of Metropolitan Magistrate Naznin Akter ordered Nusraat to be sent to prison and set 22 May for the hearing of the bail petition.
However, Nusraat's lawyer, Mohammad Iftekhar Hossain, was allowed to pursue bail for her this morning.
"We had submitted a special put-up requesting Nusraat Faria's bail," he said.
"After the hearing, the court granted bail until the police report in the case was submitted and set a Tk5,000 bond. We will now file a bail application. We hope that she will be released from jail today."
During Nusraat's bail hearing, her lawyer told the court that Nusraat was not in the country at the time of the incident mentioned in the case.
The lawyer submitted documents regarding this matter to the court. After the hearing, the court granted her bail.
Nusraat was detained by immigration police at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday as she attempted to travel to Thailand.
She was later handed over to the Bhatara police station and taken to the Detective Branch office for further questioning.
According to the case statement, Nusraat, along with actors Apu Biswas, Nipun Akter, Ashna Habib Bhabna, Zayed Khan, and 12 others, is accused in an attempted murder case linked to the July uprising in the Bhatara area.
The case, filed on 29 April at Bhatara police station following a court order, also names former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 283 others.
