Normalcy in life would return with everyone's cooperation in the flood-hit areas, Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain said today (27 August).
"With everyone's cooperation, we can return to normal life again," he said while distributing relief among the flood victims at Lalpol Siloniya.
The adviser noted that people have come forward to help the flood victims irrespective of caste and religion, saying everyone is playing a role in helping the flood victims.

He mentioned that affected people left their homes and took shelter in mosques, madrasas and various educational institutions due to floods.
"(Islami) scholars and various organizations of the country have come forward to help the flood victims. I applaud them," he added.
Khalid Hossain went on "In any calamity of the nation, the (Islami) scholars of this country come forward first, and there was no exception this time too. It is our pride."
Regarding those who died in the flood, he said, instructions have been given to the Deputy Commissioner about the burial of the persons died in the flood.
"If no burial arrangements could be made, they (dead) can be buried outside the flood affected area. In this case, voluntary organizations should come forward," he said.
The adviser said that one day's salary of all the officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs has been deposited in the Chief Adviser's relief fund to help the flood victims.
The religious affairs adviser came here today to visit the flood-hit areas. At this time, he gave 100 packets of relief materials and Taka 50,000 in cash for the temporary shelter in Siloniya Madrasa of Zaylaskar Union in Sadar Upazila. Besides, he also distributed a total of 1,000 packets of relief materials, including 300 packets, in Madhupur Jame Masjid area.
