No obstacles will be allowed to hinder children's talent development: Bobby Hajjaj
Almost 2.1 crore students took part in national competitions
The government will not tolerate any obstacles or negative campaigns against initiatives aimed at developing children's talents and creativity, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj said today (16 June).
Speaking at the prize-giving ceremony for the Primary Education Award Competition 2026 and national cultural, club scouting and subject-based quiz competitions in Dhaka today (16 June), he said, "The government is committed to building a skilled, confident and creative generation under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman."
He noted that around 2.1 crore students participated in this year's national competitions, reflecting the immense potential of the country's children.
The state minister added that the government is implementing school-based talent development programmes to help students excel in areas such as music, debate, sports, science and mathematics, alongside their academic studies.
He later distributed prizes among the winners.
