No negligence of Sonagazi madrasa chairman found: Probe committee

A probe committee has found no proof of negligence on part of the Sonagazi madrasa chairman in connection with the murder of Nusrat Jahan Rafi.

The committee formed by the public administration and education secretaries submitted its report to the High Court bench of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahsan and Justice KM Kamrul Kader on Monday.

The HC directed the secretaries to form the committee after Supreme Court barrister Yunus Ali Akandhad filed a writ petition to take proper steps against PK Enamul Karim, additional district magistrate and the chairman of the madrasa’s managing committee, on June 30.
