No need to refer President, PM as 'Mohamanya' and 'Manoniya': Govt

The government has decided that the use of "Mohamanya" (His/Her Excellency) and "Manoniya" (Honourable), or any other honorific, before the titles of the president and the prime minister in official communications, documents, and summaries is not necessary.
The decision will also be applicable in the cases of ministers, state ministers, and deputy ministers, according to a Cabinet Division circular that said the order will be effective from today (9 September).
The Cabinet Division directed concerned officials to take necessary measures to execute the order at all levels of the administration.
