Newborn’s body found near Shaheed Minar

Police recovered the body of a newborn baby near Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka last night.
"The body of the one-day-old baby was found inside a bag at a garbage dumping site near Central Shahid Minar around 10pm on Friday," Rashedul Hasan, sub-inspector at Shahbagh Police Station said.
The body was subsequently sent to the morgue of Dhaka Medical College, the officer said. "Investigation in the matter is already underway."
