Nassa Group signs agreement to settle workers’ outstanding wages
The factory authorities will pay the outstanding wages and allowances for August 2025 by 15 October and for September 2025 by 30 October

A tripartite meeting was held yesterday (23 September) at the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) in the Srama Bhaban, where an agreement was signed to settle the outstanding wages of workers at Nassa Group's factories.
According to the agreement signed between Nassa Group management and workers, the factory authorities will pay the outstanding wages and allowances for August 2025 by 15 October and for September 2025 by 30 October.
In addition, workers will receive 30 days' basic wage as service benefit for each full year of employment, maternity leave payments as per the Bangladesh Labour Law, and all other lawful dues by 30 November.
The agreement was signed at the 13th meeting of the Advisory Council Committee on labour and business conditions at Beximco Industrial Park, chaired by Brigadier General (retd) Dr M Sakhawat Hossain, adviser to the Ministries of Labour and Employment and Shipping.
Representatives of workers, factory management, the government, and BGMEA all signed the agreement.
