Mirana Mahrukh appointed new power secretary
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard today
The government has appointed Mirana Mahrukh, an additional secretary of the Economic Relations Division (ERD), as the new secretary of the Power Division under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard today (19 May).
"The order will come into effect immediately in the public interest," reads the notification.

With this appointment, Mirana Mahrukh succeeds Farzana Mamtaz, a BCS 15th batch administration cadre officer, who had been serving as the secretary of the Power Division since 6 October 2024.
