Man killed in elephant attack

A farmer was killed in an attack by a wild elephant in Banshkhali upazila of Chattogram on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Jawaharlal Deb, son of Rajchandra Deb, of Napora village in the upazila.
Banshkhali Upazila Nirbahi Officer Momena Akhter said the elephant attacked Jawaharlal at a paddy field near his house at around 1.30am when he came out of his house.

The forest department staff rescued the body in the morning.
