Man injured in Narail clash dies at Khulna hospital
The deceased was identified as Hasan Sheikh, son of Tara Mia Sheikh of Charkandipara village in Kalia upazila.
A 38-year-old man, who suffered bullet injuries, in a clash between two rival groups over establishing supremacy in Kalia upazila of Narail on yesterday (23 September), died at Khulna Medical College and Hospital today (24 September).
The deceased was identified as Hasan Sheikh, son of Tara Mia Sheikh of Charkandipara village in Kalia upazila.
Yesterday, 11 people, including five with bullet wounds, were injured in a clash between the supporters of two groups—one led by Sohel Member and another by Abed Sheikh --over establishing supremacy in Kalabaria area.

The injured were taken to Kalia Upazila Health Complex.
Later, the five victims who suffered bullet injuries were shifted to Khulna Medical College Hospital where Hasan succumbed to his injuries around 4am, said Md Hossain Ali, officer-in-charge of Naragati Police Station.
Additional police have been deployed in the area to prevent any untoward incident, said the OC.
