Low gas pressure expected in Titas areas for 18 hours
Titas said gas pressure may remain low at the consumer end for all categories of customers from 6:00am on Friday to 12:00am (midnight) on Saturday.
Gas pressure will remain low for 18 hours in areas under Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC due to emergency maintenance work at a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal, which has temporarily reduced gas supply from LNG sources.
In a press release issued on this night (25 December), Titas said gas pressure may remain low at the consumer end for all categories of customers from 6:00am on Friday to 12:00am (midnight) on Saturday.
During this period, residential, commercial and industrial consumers may face temporary inconvenience while using gas, the statement said.
Titas Gas authorities added that gas supply will return to normal once the emergency maintenance work at the LNG terminal is completed.
The company expressed sincere apologies to consumers for the temporary inconvenience.
