Former state minister for industries and former Dhaka-15 lawmaker Kamal Ahmed Majumder's son Shahed Ahmed Majumder was detained on Saturday (27 September) in the capital's Gulshan.
Members of the Counter Terrorism Unit picked him up from the Gulshan area and later handed him over to Gulshan Police Station, said the police station's Officer-in-Charge (OC) Hafizur Rahman.
"Shahed is currently being interrogated," added the OC.
