31 senior police officials transferred, 4 districts get new SPs
The transfers and postings involve officials holding the ranks of DIG, additional DIG, SP and additional SP.

The government has transferred and posted 31 senior police officials, including deputy inspector generals (DIGs), additional DIGs, superintendents of police (SPs) and additional SPs.
The home ministry issued three separate notifications today (22 September) to announce the transfers and postings.
Tawsif Ahmed, deputy secretary of the ministry's Police-1 branch, signed the notifications by order of the president.

Four of the transferred officials have been posted as SPs in Netrokona, Brahmanbaria, Rajbari, and Meherpur districts.
